Calling this a point release is a huge understatement. Breaking for Mac 1.1 is a major update and an almost complete rewrite of the app. Here's just some of the new things:
- A new brighter interface including a tutorial for installing the widget
- A much more stable and fast widget
- Share stories to Twitter and Facebook, save to Instapaper and open in Readability, right in the widget.
- New extended settings that let you choose number of stories shown in the widget, open stories in readability and several other options.
- An entirely new feature: Story mode let's you see a continuous stream of news from your feeds in a pop out window.
Breaking lets you add news that matter to you, right in your Today View.
Add local news, your favourite blogs or anything else that comes with a feed as a Today widget in OS X Yosemite.
