Figured out the bios-files with wrong ME-section does not find the SSD but boot. Checked the SSD HW. looks all fine ... Measured resistance against GND, all 4 Pci lanes (SSD/CPU side) have same values, so I assume that those are fine. 3.3V is also present, Guess at least SSD-USB is working...

Thanks a lot for your fast support. The patched bios shows the same symptom, get stuck during boot. Guess I should check the HW as a next step.

Thanks for your support. Unfortunately does the unpass4.zip not work. KB backlight comes on a second nothing else happens. Re-flashed my old bios, still the protection message. Do you have another idea? Best regards, Rene

Replacement screen ... hints needed I got a T460S without display. Laptop is working with external display at HDMI. Based on a labeling "TH1 CABLE LCD INCELL" and a 40pin 20mm display connector, I'm assuming a FHD / in-cell touch screen should be installed. I got a "R140NWF5" ... but...

Thanks for your support. But touchscreen and keyboard backlight are still not working. Guess it's something different.
